4 Complete Night Routines for Supple Skin

Its not heresy but common wisdom to remove makeup, cleanse all the dirt and grime from the long day away before going to bed. However, more often than not, we skip the step and jump right into the bed only to wonder later why the youthful luster of our skin has left us?

Dermatologists suggest that you should adopt a simple night time skin care routine to protect and nourish skin today. Once your skin becomes dull and lifeless, it can be really difficult to regain and rejuvenate it.

Spending just 5-10 minutes daily can make our skin de-stressed, protect against pollution and harsh weather as well as slow down aging and prevent other skin conditions.

Your mantra should be “Keep it simple. Follow it everyday.”. It is easy to stick to the routine if you do not feel excessive about the steps and can actually feel it working.

We have a simple 4-step routine that we follow at Satliva that works great for all skin types and adjusts to your skin conditions. Within 2-3 weeks you will start to feel the reduction in signs of ageing, acne and pimples. You will also be able to notice fresher and softer skin that you thought was a distant dream to achieve.

Incorporating natural, chemical free, and fresh products will also help you relax and add a feel of luxury to your bedtime routine.

Here is the simple 4-step routine, that you can copy and practice everyday.

  1. Remove all makeup – Start by removing all makeup and build up from the day. Use our special hemp based blend oils like Hemp with Moringa face and body oil or Hemp with Jojoba face and body oil to gently take off makeup. Take a few drops of oil in your palm and smooth it across your face. Now use a cotton ball or wet wipe to erase it all off.
  2. Cleanse and exfoliate your face – Use Hemp with Shea Butter and Activated Charcoal Body Soap Bar to remove excessive oil and dirt from the skin. This hemp oil based rich soap contains coconut oil, castor oil, palm oil, activated charcoal, shea butter along with Peppermint Essential Oil. The blend of oils along with shea butter provides extra moisturizing and nourishment. Activated charcoal is a great exfoliator that not only helps in removing excess oil, grit, cosmetics, and environmental debris that accumulates on the surface of your skin but also works on removing dead cells, blackheads and reduce acne. Gently lather and massage on your face and neck. Rinse with warm water to wash off.
  3. Moisturize – We recommend moisturizing with oils, as they have the most potent of active skincare ingredients without any frills. You can either use Hemp with Moringa face and body oil or Hemp with Jojoba face and body oil. These oils are great for all skin types and adjust according to your skin conditions. Jojoba oil creates a moisture barrier preventing your skin against dehydration. Whereas blend with Moringa oil is great for hydrating your skin as well as imparting skin rejuvenating and anti-ageing properties. Moringa oil is known for controlling occurrence of acne and pimples and fight wrinkles at the same time. Night time application of oil ensures maximum absorption and within the second or third week result in fresher and softer looking skin.
  4. Lip balm –Don’t neglect your lips. Use Raspberry Lip Balm or my favorite Orange Lip Balm to soothe those dry, cracked or chapped lips after drying them with a dry cloth to remove any dead skin. Simple yet effective ingredients like hemp Oil, cocoa butter, bees wax along with essential oil nourishes and hydrates your lip through the night.

Good skin care and nightly routines are essential to reduce the harmful effects of all the dust, pollution and weather conditions that your skin has to go through while battling with ageing and stress.
